As I told you on the previous article I decide to leave Australia and go visiting Singapor and Malaysia, so this is the last article of my Australian trip. And what an end the tropical and wet Darwin, so hot in January that you can't walk on the street without sweating like a pig.

The first thing you want to do in Darwin is go to city aquarium and meet the national hero.



Don't you recognize it ?  Look closer.

Like in Cairns what's important in Darwin is the city but the surronding. So let's have a look for a one-day-trip.



The huge falls just 2 hours drive from the town.

And the best is, you can even swim !

But during the wet season, the wheather change very fast and from one fall to another you can find flooding and heavy rain on your way.

But isn't the nature more beautiful when it surprise us ?

First check the rating fire. In this case you thought it was save to go.



Second make sure you have the right car : a four wheel drive (and the hat to go with it).


Third make sure you have a good co-pilot who can choose the right direction during the dirt part.



Then you can go. Ready to meet some animals before you fall asleep.
